• Real Madrid haven’t won by 3 goals in the KO stage of the CL since 2001. Which is the year when they later went on to win the competition.
• Real Madrid have always won the Champions Cup in years in which they have knocked out a French opponent.
• Today’s victory adds up to a total of 9 games unbeaten in the CL. This is the club’s best streak in the history of the tournament.
